Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was started by a group of parents of children affected by CF, including a sister of Delta Phi Epsilon, Phyllis Kossoff. Since 1967, Delta Phi Epsilon has raised over one million dollars for CFF and strives to make CF stand for "Cure Found". We, the Alpha Upsilon chapter have raised more than $4,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation just this year. |
The Foundation raises, manages and awards funds to provide undergraduate and graduate scholarships to our sisters. It also provides grants to support our innovative educational and leadership programs. Many of our alumni and active sisters have received scholarships from the national Educational Foundation. Many sisters have also participated in leadership conferences including National Convention and EngageU. |
